JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for realizing sales quotas with assigned partner channels on designated Henry Schein One products and services both in terms of total sales, leads, and partner solution providers. Manage expenses to budget. Manage, lead and hold partners accountable for their performance, including the development of positive relationships in assigned territory and achievement of sales.

The primary objective of this individual will be to support and lead a variety of channel sales partners with the objective to grow the overall sales of Henry Schein One products and services; as well as drive strategic initiatives. Monitor, maintain, and follow up on sales activity and opportunity for Henry Schein One as directed by the Henry Schein One team. Executes strategic plans for new sales opportunities to grow market share in designated areas as well as coach their partner channels to do the same. Expected to spend meaningful developing effective training and education platforms. Responsible for educating partners in their area on any existing Henry Schein One products in detail about the service(s), pricing, temporary and ongoing promotions, etc., while guiding and developing their partners to perform under the same expectations. Expected to be in regular and consistent communication with partner channel leadership as well. May be called upon to lead other special projects as well, as assigned by Henry Schein One Leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership for all team members within the assigned partner channels by working with partners to attain training objectives, drive strategic initiatives, and activity goals
  • Communicates with Henry Schein One Sales Manager to initiate, track, and monitor strategic sales objectives and campaigns
  • Coach partners to improve sales effectiveness, including selling skills, territory management and relationship development with Henry Schein One sales contacts and partners
  • Communicate regularly with partners on performance and develop plans to improve performance of partnership
  • Communicates with Henry Schein One Sales leadership and partners to assist in lead development, sales activity, and follow up
  • Attend assigned dental events (Business development meetings, tradeshows, customer meetings, etc) within partner assignment with purpose to train, coach, and push targeted sales results
  • Other assignments as given by sales leadership

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:

* Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including World Wide Business Standards.

* Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.

* Accepting and performing on assigned projects

* Attend Corporate, national exclusive and regional meetings as required to assist in communicating and training EPS in attendance

SCOPE:

Typically manage a moderately complex section of a department, a small department, large process or multiple smaller processes. Make recommendations for executing on plans in accordance with the policies and directives of senior management. Accountable for meeting the operating objectives of the department. Provide guidance to staff within the latitude of established company policies. Determine how to use resources to meet schedules and goals. Assure adherence to and manage approved budgets. May play a role in high-level projects that have an impact on the sub-function's future direction.

COMPLEXITY:

Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends. Act as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems. Full knowledge of multiple areas within sub-function derived from experience in non-management roles. Focus on executing goals in an accurate and timely manner.

STRATEGY:

Implement strategy to further the sub-function's larger goals through the work of professional staff. Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect the sub-function.

SUPERVISION:

Manage work and goals of professional level staff performing non-routine work or who manage a process or system. May have subordinate supervisors.

INTERACTION:

Interact with senior management and/or customers, normally involving matters between functional areas and/or other company divisions or units. Often must lead a collaborative effort among members of a project team.

MANAGEMENT DUTIES:

Typically can hire, terminate, or promote; another level of approval may be required. Makes decisions on salary increases, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, etc.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 10 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; 1 or more years of management experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
