As an Account Representative at Woodruff Sawyer, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple accounts as part of a larger broker team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the book of business and account team in developing strong relationships with clients and carriers. You will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day client inquiries, analyzing client information, and assisting in the management and transfer of risk.

What You'll Do

  • Support the development of relationships with clients and carriers
  • Respond to daily client inquiries and requests
  • Help clients understand, manage, and transfer risk
  • Learn from our experienced Account Managers and assist in managing a book of business
  • Prepare materials for client proposals and presentations
  • Carry out account management and renewal responsibilities
  • Review contracts and issue certificates of insurance for clients

Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of related insurance brokerage experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Required to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of hire

More About Us

Compensation: Anticipated salary between $51,000 - $85,000. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
