The Challenge:

The Assistant Store Manager will work with the Store Manager in providing guidance, direction, and development to the store team to achieve all revenue, profit, and customer service goals. In this leadership position you are an integral piece of the development of the store's team, the customer experience, and overall success of the store

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, retention/succession planning, disciplining, and terminating employees
  • Work in tandem with the Store Manager to ensure the store is ran efficiently while maintaining an excellent shopping experience for our customers
  • Maintain compliance with corporate communications by overseeing preparation of merchandise, displays and presentations.
  • Act as a mentor and assist with the development of Sales Associates and Supervisors
  • Demonstrate a customer centric mindset by role modeling selling behaviors with a passion for the brand, customer, and product
  • Ensure store is consistently recovered and customer ready everyday meeting brand standards on the sales floor and back-of-house.
  • Continuously seek and provide feedback to elevate the customer experience

Who are we looking for?

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in the retail and/or customer service field
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous inventory experience
  • Strong communication, influencing and time management skills
  • Enjoy being part of a team environment.
  • Availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends, store openings and closings, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
  • The ability to safely lift 30 lbs. and can maneuver throughout the sales floor and stockroom
